For over 30 years, The West Hartford Food Pantry has been an integral part of the Department of Human and Leisure Services. More than 700 families in need visit the emergency pantry each year for non-perishable groceries. In 2013, the Pantry distributed over 5,000 bags.
The need in our community continues to grow, and the success of The Town That Cares Food Pantry depends solely on food donations and charitable contributions from schools, businesses, social groups, families and individuals…like you!
Now, more than ever, the food pantry needs the help of the community in order to continue to assist residents struggling to put food on their tables.
