Pay or Appeal Parking Ticket

Parking is enforced during the hours of operation pertaining to each parking facility. Our Parking Monitors are there to assist the public with information and/or directions, to promote parking availability, to enforce regulations, and to support a safe and pleasant experience for all visitors to West Hartford Center.

How to pay your ticket

  • Pay your ticket online
  • Pay in person at Town Hall, Room 109
  • Pay by mail (address below)
  • Pay by calling 860-845-1485. 

Payments made online and by phone will incur a convenience fee of the greater of $3.50 per ticket or 4% of the ticket amount. All payments should be made payable to the Town of West Hartford. Payments must be made within 14 calendar days of issue date to avoid an additional fine. Please include the ticket number on the check.

Appeal your ticket

Appeal your ticket with a formal, written objection statement which will be reviewed, and the appeal may be granted or denied.  If granted, the ticket will be discharged.  If denied, you will be notified of a hearing date and time at which you may present your objection to a hearing officer.  The decision of the hearing officer is final.  If an assessment is levied against you at the hearing, payment is required at the time of the hearing.  No payment arrangements will be accepted.   Failure to appear at this hearing, or failure to pay the fine levied against you at the hearing, will result in the assessment of all fines and penalties against you by default.  Filing an objection statement will suspend further accumulation of fines and/or penalties until such time as a final determination is made.
