Driveway Permits are required for
new, replacement or alterations to existing driveways in order to ensure
driveways appropriately connect to the Town’s Right of Way, do not encroach on
neighboring properties and that the construction is performed by licensed

for driveway permits by coming to the Engineering Office
in Room 204 of Town Hall, or may print out the entire application
from the link below. Please complete the highlighted areas, and return it with
the appropriate fee either by mail or in person. Also, if necessary,
please print out and complete any missing requirements from the links below
and return with the application and fee. All driveway permits must
conform with current zoning standards.

the Town of West Hartford requirements that are listed below. These
driveway contractors are licensed, but not endorsed by the Town of West
Hartford Engineering Division.
The requirements to apply
for a Driveway Permit and License are as follows:
On West Hartford form, must be signed by owner of
company or office and notarized
Licensing: Provide the documents listed above AND your State
of Connecticut Home Improvement registration number and your Federal ID
Annual License fee: $50.00
Permit fee for each address: $50.00
