Parking is enforced during the hours of operation pertaining to each parking
facility. Our Parking Monitors are there to assist the public with information
and/or directions, to promote parking availability, to enforce regulations, and
to support a safe and pleasant experience for all visitors to West Hartford
To avoid getting a parking violation, take the time to review the information
on our operations and observe the traffic rules. We strive our very best to
serve your parking needs.
You can either pay your ticket on line or in
person or by mail. All payments should be made payable to the Town of West
Hartford. Payments must be made within 14 calendar days of
issue date to avoid an additional fine. Include the ticket number on the check.

Appeal your ticket with a formal, written objection statement which will be reviewed, and the appeal may be granted or denied. If granted, the ticket will be discharged. If denied, you will be notified of a hearing date and time at which you may present your objection to a hearing officer. The decision of the hearing officer is final. If an assessment is levied against you at the hearing, payment is required at the time of the hearing. No payment arrangements will be accepted. Failure to appear at this hearing, or failure to pay the fine levied against you at the hearing, will result in the assessment of all fines and penalties against you by default. Filing an objection statement will suspend further accumulation of fines and/or penalties until such time as a final determination is made.
