Here you will find everything related to energy and the West Hartford Clean Energy Commission (WH-CEC). For any questions, contact West Hartford’s Energy Specialist, Catherine Diviney, Catherine.Diviney@westhartfordct.gov or 860-561-7581.

For Residents:

  • NEW PROGRAM: Solar for All Greater Hartford.  The Solar for All program is a ground-breaking public-private partnership between the Connecticut Green Bank and PosiGen. The program offers a low-to-moderate income (LMI) targeted solar lease paired with energy efficiency  measures for homeowners, regardless of income or credit. Come learn more about this community-supported initiative to reduce residents’ utility bills at the West Hartford Homeowner Workshop, Tuesday, November 27th, 5:30 pm-6:30 pm @ Charter Oak International Academy Library, 425 Oakwood Avenue, West Hartford 06110. See flyer for more event dates at Faxon Library and Bishops Corner Senior Center.

For Businesses:

  • The WH-CEC has partnered with the WH Chamber of Commerce to encourage local businesses to sign-up for an energy assessment. For a limited time, through December 30, 2018, each sign-up can benefit The Town that Cares Fund! Read more.
