    This is an entry level course intended to teach age appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages using team babysitting, motherís helper and individual babysitting concepts. The course focuses on safety with emphasis on prevention. Basic first aid and obstructed airway management for a conscious choking adult/child and infant will be covered. Other topics include hand washing, diapering, bottle feeding, personal safety, interview skills and many more topics. Please bring a snack.     Designed for the preschool to kindergarten age child. Your gymnast will enjoy up to 2 hours of gymnastics per day on obstacle courses and traditional training apparatus, 1 hour of crafts and activities and a social 30 minute snack break. Each week will have a theme that will be announced on the first day and activities will be aligned to the theme throughout the week! Please pack snacks and lunch for campers. Fridays will include pizza lunch.

    Aerials Gymnastics has been the training ground for gymnastics champions for over 30 years. Owned by Carol Shafman who has been a gymnastics team and event coordinator for the past 8 years. Managed by Carolyn Proulx who trained at Aerials for her USAG JO career through high school, then competed NCAA for SCSU through college. She is now a competitive weight lifter and head coach for Aerials Gymnastics.

    Participants will energize their body and brain while working on athletics and academics in preparation for the upcoming school year. Half of the participant's time will be spent working on creative writing skills which they will put to immediate use in the school's writing program, such as voice, dialogue and snapshot writing. The other half of the time will be spent on athletic skills, fitness, agility, teamwork and problem solving through team sports such as soccer, basketball and volleyball. Please bring a drink and snack. Run by certified elementary teachers Kim Ashworth and Michael Aparo.

This clinic is essentially "Tryout for the Tryout" giving athletes an opportunity to get in early shape and sharpen their stick skills. This program will be directed by coach Grace "Martha" Giannini, former SCSU athlete and captain in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse and the 2nd all-time assist leader in SCSU Field Hockey history. Stick, mouth-guard, shin guards and goggles are required. Everyone gets a t-shirt.
