Park Road/I-84 Construction Update

The paving of the new off-ramp and a portion of Park Road was completed on  9/17/18 and the contractor is planning to transition traffic to the next phase. The traffic shift is tentatively scheduled for 9/19/18 and should be completed by the end of the week.

During this phase, traffic will be shifted to the south side of
Park Road so that the northern portion can be reconstructed. Park Road would be closed to one lane in each direction between Overbrook Road and the I-84 Exit 43 Off-Ramp. The existing off-ramp would remain in use, as there is still a significant amount of work before traffic can be shifted over to the new off-ramp. This closure will remain in place 24/7 for several weeks.

The most significant impact under this phase will be the temporary closure of Raymond Road (northbound) at Park Road. Raymond Road will remain open to southbound traffic only.

Overbrook Road will also have restricted access at the intersection of Park Road. Left turns to and from Park Road will not be permitted. The current detours to access I-84 will remain in place during this phase. Traffic traveling east on Park Road will still be able to access the I-84 on-ramp to proceed east or west. Park Road westbound traffic, wishing to access I-84 will be detoured to the Main Street (Interchange 41) ramps. Trout Brook Drive (Interchange 42) is the recommended alternate to access I-84 East.
