The Assessment Office is responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing all real estate, business personal property, and motor vehicles as of October 1st of each year in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes. All property is assessed at 70% of it's fair market value.

Motor Vehicle Mill Rate = 32.46

Elderly Income Requirements

Various state and local tax relief programs are administered for elderly and/or totally disabled homeowners, veterans, as well as legally blind residents. In order to qualify for tax relief benefits or exemptions, one must meet specific requirements as outlined under the Elderly Income Requirements.
