West Hartford's new CityView Permit Portal
Permit applicants are required to use our CityView Permit Online Portal for all submissions. Paper applications are not accepted.
ONLINE PORTAL FEATURES AND SERVICES
- Apply for building, zoning, and engineering permits
- Register as a Contractor
- Submit land use applications
- Track project status
- View permit status
- Receive real-time inspection results
- Pay all fees online
To use all the services and features the online portal offers, you must register and create a user account. Users can logon and work on the permit over a period of time. Information is saved after each visit so users can pick-up where they previously left off. Important documents can be uploaded and fees are automatically and correctly calculated. Users complete the transaction with a credit card payment. Once the permit is submitted, users can logon and track its progress. A history of all transactions are kept in the users account.
A computer kiosk is available in each of the three offices so people can apply for a permit in person. Staff is happy to assist and answer questions.
