The Town of West Hartford’s Office of Employee Development & Community Engagement is dedicated to promoting a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all staff, residents, clients, and patrons. This office is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Town’s policies and procedures, overseeing employee development, and leading community engagement initiatives.

Access: The Town of West Hartford strives to ensure our residents, employees, and partners have the proper resources, services, and programs to participate and engage effectively in the community. Additionally, we offer opportunities to partner with community organizations.

Representation: The Town of West Hartford is committed to creating, nurturing, and supporting an open, welcoming and inclusive community. We are dedicated to offering educational and supportive resources and programs to our employees in order to better serve our residents. Additionally, we offer programs and other opportunities throughout the greater community that speak on the issues of community and allyship and how we as a Town can better understand and support our neighbors.
