Area 5 - St. Joseph's Tributary

Area 5 – St. Joseph’s Tributary overall drainage improvements map.  The total cost to replace all recommended storm drainage to improve flooding impacts is $20.3 Million.

The phase 1 project for this area shown in orange on the map will include the installation of a new storm drainage system on the University of St. Joseph’s property from St. Joseph’s Brook to Albany Avenue, crossing Albany Avenue, and replacing the storm pipe on Sequin Road with a larger pipe to 19/25 Sequin Road where the existing storm drainage system crosses to Miamis Road.  Reducing the size of this project will provide very limited benefit to neighborhood.  This project is in preliminary design and will cost $5.6 Million.  The design and permitting of this project will continue and the construction will start after the Area 1 project.
