Eisenhower Park
The 17-acre property was acquired in 1960, and the park was developed during that decade. The pool was constructed in 1969-70 and the bathhouse was finished in 1971. The pool and bathhouse are currently under construction, with plans for a grand-reopening in time for the 2026 summer season.
The park also features basketball courts and a youth baseball field. In 2001, a full sized soccer field was built at the site of former tennis courts, funded by West Hartford’s community soccer foundation, Field of Dreams.
