UCONN West Hartford Campus Community Visioning

The Town of West Hartford completed a community visioning process that focused on the future of University of Connecticut’s West Hartford Campus.

This process allowed the Town to understand community sentiment regarding potential future uses of the UConn campus, assess potential opportunities, and identify community concerns. Our public engagement efforts included:

• Online Survey (Closed. Thank you to the more than 2700 people that participated!)
• Public Forums (WHC-TV Recording of Forum) 
• Submission of written comments

Based on the results of this participatory engagement process, the Town Council adopted a Community Vision for the property, which will UConn with its marketing of the property and recruitment of future development partners.
