Neat Neighbors

The Department of Public Works is excited to announce a new neighborhood clean-up initiative called NEAT NEIGHBORS.  This program will facilitate volunteer litter clean-ups in your neighborhood.

June is dog license month in Town Clerks’ offices throughout the state, and the West Hartford Town Clerk’s Office mailed reminders to dog owners, urging owners to make their pets “legal.”

The Metropolitan District (MDC) announced that it began its state-mandated annual watershed sanitary survey and inspection program. Property inspections will take place in several towns, including West Hartford, along Reservoir Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Eversource has provided the Town with this year's notice of planned and scheduled vegetation maintenance work on the electric transmission right-of-way (ROW) located in West Hartford.
