Yard Waste Collection
Yard waste collection begins the first full week of April and runs through the last week of October on your recycling day. Yard waste collection will be on the same day as recycling collection.
Yard waste should be placed in 30-gallon biodegradable leaf bags and placed at the curb on the same day as your recyclables. Brush must be cut to no longer than four-foot lengths, tied and bundled with biodegradable twine.
Residents also have the option to purchase a 95-gallon barrel for yard waste. The cart is the equivalent of three, 30-gallon bags. The cost to purchase the cart is $90.00 and residents own and maintain their carts. Barrels will be delivered in the end of October due to supply availability from the vendor. If a barrel is not received by the end of mid-November, notify Public Works or Paine’s Waste Management.
