Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)
The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) helps income-eligible residents pay for their home heating costs. You can apply online, by phone, by email, by mail, or in person at your local Community Action Agency. For West Hartford residents, the Community Renewal Team (CRT) is the local CAA. Generation Power CT - GPCT (formerly Operation Fuel)
Assists income-eligible Connecticut households with emergency fuel, utility, and water assistance. Apply online only via the GPCT portal or by calling the Social Services office at 860-561-7560. Application period: January 2–10, March 2–10, September 2–10, November 2–10.

Weatherization
The Weatherization Assistance Program helps low-income people reduce energy costs and fuel use in their homes through retrofits and home improvements.
