Food Resources

West Hartford Social Services maintains a large, well-stocked food pantry of non-perishable food items. Residents are eligible to use the food pantry once a month.  If you are in need of food more frequently, please contact the Food Pantry for assistance.

In order to use the Food Pantry, residents need to provide a photo ID and a recent utility bill or official piece of mail showing a West Hartford address at each visit. Income guidelines apply and are subject to change. Please contact the food pantry for information and how to apply.

Curbside Food Distribution is located in front of the West Hartford Town Hall (near the parking lot and flag poles).  There is no food distribution when town hall is closed due to a holiday or weather-related closure.
