Ways to Pay Your Taxes

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, and until further notice, the Tax office is closed for in-person transactions.  We are sorry for this inconvenience, but it is in the interest of public health.

In-person transactions may be arranged by appointment, only if absolutely necessary.  Contact Helene Lefkowitz, Revenue Collector, at 860-561-7478 or by email at helene@westhartfordct.gov. 

There are 3 options to pay your tax bill.

 

Option 1:   pay online  by electronic check ($0.90 processing fee) or by credit card (2.95% processing fee).
 

Option 2:   If you have the payment stub, MAIL your payment in the enclosed return envelope.  Payment should be mailed to:

*New Britain is where our bank processes payments

 

If you do not have your payment stub from the bill, MAIL your payment to the Town Hall. Payment should be mailed to:

Option 3:  You may drop off your tax payment after hours in the drop box located at the front entrance to Town Hall. The drop box is to the left of the front door as you face the building. The box is lighted. Payments placed in the drop box must be received by midnight of the due date. Please do not use drop box if it appears full.
