Elizabeth Park - Located at the Corner of Prospect Ave and Asylum Ave on the Hartford / West Hartford line.

Community Gardens

Westmoor Park manages the Community Garden program in Town. Gardens are located on Flagg Rd., Cornerstone Dr., and Wolcott Rd. Three garden sites are available to residents only.

Farmers' Market

West Hartford Farmers' Market is open from May through December. Due to construction on LaSalle Road in 2025, the market is temporarily located at Town Hall lot.  The market offers fruits, vegetables, maple syrup, flowers, cheese, jam, and bread from Connecticut farms. Thank you for buying locally and supporting the Connecticut economy.  

Hours of Operation:
Saturdays, 9 AM-1 PM, May 4 to December 20, 2025
Special Market Day:  Wednesday, November 26, 2025 (Day before Thanksgiving). Location to be determined.

Blue Back Farmers' Market is a CT Grown certified market in West Hartford that hosts more than 20 vendors, live music, readings, community programs, and more every Sunday from June through October in the West Hartford Town Hall Lot. Come for the food, but stay for the fun! 

Accepts S/FMNP, SNAP/EBT, Benefit doubling.
